Focussed on the beauty of natural form and material, Misena grew into an oasis of wheel-thrown ceramics.
Mauranne, started with ceramics in 2019. What began as a hobby, changed when she moved and had the opportunity to build a small atelier in her garage. From this moment on, most days where filled with clay and the exploration of the possibilities this material has.
In May 2022, Misena moved to a new and bigger atelier space in Antwerp. Mainly focussing on functional stoneware that is wheel thrown, fired in an electric kiln, and hand-glazed. All one of a kind objects, created with love, and for you to use and cherish for many years to come.
Pottery is patience.
Since everything is made by hand, Misena operates at a mindful pace. There are natural limits to what can be achieved in a day. Please keep this in mind when reaching out. I will always do my best to answer your emails within 3 business days. Thank you for understanding
